Notes

Grains and water brought to about 160 and let cool slowly for 45 minutes. Additional water boiled and cooled slightly in kettle for sparging. Extract heated slowly while grains steeped. Grain tea combined with extract &water. Wort chilled in water bath with snow. Sunday, November 28 2010 - No grain bag used. Hops &Irish moss bagged. Sampled with the family over Christmas 2010 and it was enjoyed by all (even Kay who doesn’t like beer). Took to Homebrew Club meeting and it was well recieved there too. Worth brewing again.
